Intro State BudgetReturn to index of stories... |
Well it's official. The state of New Hampshire has a budget that has been approved by the House, Senate and Governor. In June, Governor Benson vetoed the original state budget passed by the legislature, saying it spent too much money. The legislature and governor worked out a compromise this summer - which actually spends more than the original budget. But it's also supposed to put about $50 million into the rainy day fund. Here are some highlights from Thursday. |
